Annet Mahendru
Mahendru, a Russian-Indian mother was born in Afghanistan. She is fluent in German, Russian and English and also French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru, born in India to an Indian father and a Russian father as well as an Indian mother, speaks fluently with both of the languages. She created choreography that gained her the opportunity to appear on German TV as an Russian snowmaiden, who then became another Indian dancer. After completing the requirements for high school in New York, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. In high school, she attended acting classes at HB but left for improv at Groundlings School. She then performed in a variety of comedy roles. She was raised within Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru, as well as Russian-speaking mom Olga. In her teens, her parents divorced and they moved her from Kabul Afghanistan to East Meadow New York. Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys star in FX's The Americans. In FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is one of her best television performance. She was a character who appeared on the Fox series The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
