Parents are the Russian economist Tatyana Semenovich and Gregory T. the Director of the Fur Company. After spending six months in hospital when a young child, she was later diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. His career as a skater with co-pilot Denis Samokhin made him famous. Both of them competed in two separate Junior World Championships placing 8th in 1993 and 7th 1994. Following a brief partnership with Maxim Kachanov, they placed fifth at the Goodwill Games of 1994. Later in 1995, she team together with Vladimir Fedorov. They were equally successful in their partnership, winning the Finlandia Trophy two times and participating in the Grand Prix of Figure Skating. They achieved more together, but their best moment was placing 15th in 1998's World Championships.
